Connecting UK homeowners to Ukrainian refugees

Max Haining founder of 100DaysOfNoCode was looking for support to help launch UK Homes for Ukrainians, a tech platform connecting Ukrainian refugees to homes in the UK.

In one coaching session, More Diverse Voices offered media support, helped to draft and edit their press release, and advised on which publications to send the press release to and how to pitch to journalists.

The result: X14 pieces of national, regional and trade press. The Independent, Yahoo, Indy 100, PA Media, Evening Standard and Express and Star

Since the launch of the platform, UK Homes for Ukraine has registered:

  • 1K UK homeowners on the platform
  • 482 Ukrainian refugees
  • Made 4,312 connections

This is a really inspiring project that highlights the power of no-code tools in action.
